Entrants:  Class A, B, C-D:  20% of the field and ties plus any player within seven strokes over par.  Section 2 will be paying the greens fees for each individual player.  Coaches should give their number of players to the site chairman upon arrival.

 

State Qualifier:  Low 16 scores will play a second round at Orchard Creek Golf Club on Friday, October 16th, with the first tee time at 10:00 a.m.  No substitute players will be added.

 

Entries:   All entries should be sent directly to the site chairman and must be received no later than Friday, October 2, 2009.  No phone entries will be accepted.  Confirm with a phone call by October 5th.  Unsupervised players will not be allowed to participate.

Qualifying Scores:

 

All entrants must meet Section II State Requirements for eligibility.  To qualify for sectional competition, Class A, B, C, & D golfers must shoot 8 over par golf at least five (5) times with a minimum of two rounds at any away match.  If a school plays 4 or less away matches, one (1) 8 over par round must be at an away match.

 

The Class Tournaments and the A-B-C-D playoffs will be 36 holes medal play (over two days with a 1st round cut), unless weather forces a shortening of the tournament.  Please call the site chairperson.
