The Elite Organization of Chefs (Chefs Club) is open to all eighth grade students. |
||
Students apply for positions in the EOC by explaining why they would like to participate. They also are to get recommendations from two members of the faculty. |
||
Students will be involved in preparing foods for themselves. They will also be involved in an entrepreneurship project where they will operate a simple bakery and sell their products for a profit. |

During the month of December the members of the Elite Organization of Chefs were very busy baking loaf after loaf after loaf of cranberry, lemon and pumpkin bread to fill the orders that they received from faculty and staff at the Middle School. |
The students enjoyed the experience but had no idea that it would be so involved. If they were to do an Entrepreneurship Project again they would choose something that was easier to prepare. Students worked under the direction of Executive Chef Sam Turnbull. |
