Students in Home and Career Skills are expected to abide by all of the
rules of the school as well as the following classroom rules.
These rules were developed by the students on the first day of class.
Teacher rules were also added to this list and represent the rules that are to be followed
in Mrs. Babin's and Ms. Mize's classrooms.
1. Be polite and respectful of others.
2. Raise your hands if you want to speak and wait to be called on.
3. Gum chewing is not allowed in class.
4. Come to class prepared and on time. If a teacher delays you, you must bring a pass from that teacher.
5. Do your homework and turn it in on time.
6. Put everything away in the right place.
7. Use the girl’s room and boy’s room before or after class. You will be allowed to use the facilities for emergencies only. If you are out of class you are missing valuable information.
8. Lights off means instant quiet.
9. If you will be missing class for a music lesson or other reason, you are to let your teacher know before class time.
10. Do your best in everything you do.
11. Lotions, make-up, cologne, etc. are not allowed in class.
12. Keep all 4 legs of the chair on the floor at all times.
