The class project this semester included working for the Schenectady county manager. The class completed a demographic profile of Schenectady County. The class then surveyed the county employees and compiled a survey report including policy alternatives for the telecommunications system to be installed in the county building. The Town of Rotterdam & GAR Associates presented a check to Mrs. Ryder at the March 13, 2006 Schalmont School Board Meeting. The scholarship bearing Mrs. Ryder's name will be awarded to a Public Affairs student at the Senior Awards this spring. To be eligible to receive the scholarship a student must take the Public Affairs course and prove proficiency in the subject. |
