The following is Lab information:
1. They MUST complete at least 30 labs prior to June 1st.
2. They MUST have 30 written lab reports in their folder prior to June 1st.
3. The MUST do the 4 mandated NYS labs and have a lab report on file for each of the 4 labs. Theses 4 labs are tested on Regents exam.
4. If your child is missing more than 2 labs every 5 weeks a letter from the department will be sent home informing you of the situation.
5. Labs can be made up after school on Thursdays from 2:30pm-3:15pm in my room(52).
6. They must be made up within 8 days from the time the lab was given to the students in lab class.
7. It is the students responsible to remember to come in and make up any missed labs.
8. Students will loose 1 point off class average for every missing or incomplete lab.
9. Most labs are graded with an S(satisfactory) or U( unsatisfactory). Lab reports are graded out of 100%. Those reports count 5% of the quarter average.
10. Any U lab can be resubmitted for a S grade as long as it is before the 8 day deadline.
