The Schalmont High School Library Media Center
The Schalmont High School Library Media Center is located at the Schalmont High School, 1 Sabre Drive, Schenectady, New York.
We are an active school media center and serve the students and faculty in the high school, grades nine through twelve. We have numerous books, periodicials, videos, books on tape, and library research databases for our students to use. We are open from 7:30 am to 3:20 pm every day except Wednesdays and Fridays. ( we close at 2:15 those days) Students have access to fourteen computers in the main library for research use, as well as an additional thirty computers which their teacher may sign out for class instruction. We are a fully automated library and can locate materials for loan from other local school and public libraries as well.
